Cat Nutrition

Cats have complex nutritional requirements and cannot be fed the same food as dogs. Being carnivores, cats need highly digestible meats, having a relatively high protein requirement. Cats require both Taurine & Arginine to be present in their diet as they are unable to produce their own. Taurine is essential for healthy eyes, ears, heart and immune function.
Vitamins are another important nutritional area for cats. Cats require Vitamin A and Niacin in their diets as, unlike dogs, they cannot produce it for themselves. By feeding a complete and balanced kitten or adult cats food which provides them with essential nutrients, your pet can live a long and healthy life.
