Dog Nutrition

Unfortunately all dogs get older, but many people are unaware that different breeds age at different speeds. A small dog (Less than 20lbs weight) might be considered elderly when they are about eleven and a half years old. For medium sized dogs, 21lbs – 50 lbs., it is 10 years old. Large dogs weighing between 51 and 90 pounds reach senior citizen status when they are about nine whilst giant breeds of over 90 lbs become pensioners at about seven and a half. No matter what your pet’s age or size we will strive to provide a suitable food for them. Dogs are omnivores, meaning that they can eat both meat and plant matter. Our manufacturers’ nutritionists will always strive to ensure that your pet gets the best combination.
